LNHS football still alive for 3rd-place finish

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Lake Norman's football team has a legitimate shot at finishing tied for third place in its first year in the I-Meck 4A Conference.

The Wildcats travel across town to Mooresville on Friday for the regular-season finale.

A Lake Norman win moves it into a tie for third with the loser of Friday's game between Vance and West Charlotte, who currently share second place.

A Vance win would help the Wildcats more. Lake Norman lost to Vance but beat West Charlotte, so if the Wildcats tie for third with West Charlotte, they'll be seeded higher in the upcoming playoffs.
