Williamson's Chapel UMC
On Dec. 14 at both the 8:15 and 11 a.m. worship services, the chancel choir and some additional singers will present its Christmas cantata, "And This Shall Be a Sign", in the sanctuary. This recent composition by Larry Shackley and John Parker uses new melodies to tell the familiar story. Soloists this year will include Vicki Wilson, Marnie Reber and Henry Deal. The choir will be accompanied by the Crown String Quartet of Charlotte; Janet Carpenter on the oboe; Mat Hendrix on the flute; David Ellis on trumpet and Amber Lindon on timpani, and Williamson's Chapel's Fuquay family. The community is encouraged to come.
Williamson's Chapel United Methodist Church, 575 Brawley School Road, is offering a new Saturday service at the church at 6 p.m. "Connexion" has begun, and offers contemporary music, Bible messages and the opportunity to make new friends and worship Christ in a casual, friendly community. Fieldstone Presbyterian

The community is invited to join us for our weekly Hotdog Lunches, which are held every Friday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Donations are gladly accepted for this meal.
Broad St. UMC
On Sundays, the Rainbow Ringers practice at 4:30 p.m., the UM KIDS meet at 5:45 p.m., and the Mooresville Christian Kids Company meets from 5-5:45p.m.
On Wednesdays, the Master's Ringers meet at 5:30 p.m., the Joyful Ringers meet 6:30 p.m., and choir practice is also held at 6:30 p.m.
Broad Street is collecting winter coats and clothing for The House of Love and Deliverance, the Soup kitchen, and The Crisis Pregnancy Center. This will be an ongoing project through the winter months.
The Master's Ringers, Broad Street U.M.C.'s hand bell Choir will be performing in downtown Mooresville near the Charles Mack Citizen Center on Dec. 11 at 5:30 p.m. This will be a combination of religious and secular songs. They will also be performing before the Lake Norman Symphony at the Mooresville High School auditorium at 7 p.m. on Dec. 13.
On Dec. 14 the chancel choir will perform the Christmas cantata entitled, "On This Very Night", created by Carla Worley during the 11 a.m. service. The church will also go Christmas caroling at 5 p.m. that evening.
On Dec. 21 the hand bell choirs will be performing during the 11 a.m. service. At 5 p.m. that evening there will be a "Birthday Party for Jesus", which will include a birthday cake for Jesus, and a soup and sandwich meal.
On Dec. 24 at 6:30 p.m. there will be a Christmas Eve candlelight carol service.
Coddle Creek ARP
The Song of Solomon Series, a teaching tool for Biblical relationships, will be offered to high school students and college students on Dec. 18, 21, 28, 39, Jan. 4, and 6 from 6-8 p.m. at the home of the Campbell's. Dinner is included.
On Sunday, the congregation will go Christmas caroling to the out shut-ins at 4 p.m.
The children's choir will rehearse Sunday at 3 p.m.
The mission's committee will meet on Sunday at 3 p.m.
Our Christmas Eve service will be held at 5 p.m. on Dec. 24.
Officers elected included Ray Burris – congregational chairman; Carolyn Caldwell – receiving treasurer; Patti Loner – disbursing treasurer; Ray Burris – elder; Shea Alexander, Tim Burrell, John DeVusser, and Troy Horton – deacons; and Gary Patterson – trustee.
Donald Kistler was granted the status of Elder-Emeritus. A special presentation was made to him on Sunday during the worship service.

The Coddle Creek cookbooks are available at a cost of $12 each.
A book exchange table is located in foyer of the fellowship hall. All books can be had for 50 cents each. Proceeds will be divided between the Community Pregnancy Center and the Mooresville Area Bible Teachers Association.
Covenant Kids meets on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. for supper, 6:30 p.m. for children's choir rehearsal, and 7 p.m. for meetings.
A group is meeting each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. praying for the effort to plant a daughter congregation.
