Greed is America's problem and has been for a long time. America was once a nation that honored and trusted God.
We have arrogantly elevated ourselves and we've come to believe that we can fix every national ailment on our own. Our self-reliant society is doomed to eventually fail. We have built a culture of our own making that is on the verge of destruction. Not one leader, president, senator or representative has stood up and said that our country needs God's help. This is not a surprise!
God speaks to His people in II Chronicles 7-14: "If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
This is the answer to our problems — economical and moral — in our country! Will we acknowledge our sin and turn back to God? Will we call on God for help in our hour of distress or will we continue to further distance ourselves from his aid?
