Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce names Board Member of the Year

On Jan. 30, the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce named Robert Reed, co-owner of Alphagraphics Lake Norman, their Outstanding Board Member of the Year, recognizing the businessman's community service through the Starrette Service Award.
Reed is currently serving on the executive board of the Chamber with membership oversight. He has chaired and co-chaired the Chamber Membership Drive for several years as well as spearheaded the marketing efforts of the Lake Norman Chamber Business Expo. He is a member of the North Mecklenburg Kiwanis Club and the Lake Norman Executive Board, and is currently leading the marketing efforts for the Denver Area Business Association (DABA) Taste of Denver – Business Expo to be held in the spring.
"I am surprised and honored to receive this award. It is the many volunteers who deserve the credit for making the events of the Chamber a success." said Reed.
Reed grew up in the Lake Norman area and resides in Cornelius. He is a lifelong member of Denver United Methodist Church.
