Man injured in ATV accident

A man remains in critical condition and a second has been released from the hospital after a four-wheeler crash early Sunday morning on Ostwalt-Amity Road near Arthurs Road.
Nathan Buss is a patient at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, said Trooper Chad Crouse of the N.C. Highway Patrol. He was still listed in critical condition as of 9:30 p.m. Monday.
A second man, Donald Jennings, was treated and released from Lake Norman Regional Medical Center.
Crouse said troopers are still attempting to determine exactly what happened.
The crash occurred around 2 a.m. Sunday when one four-wheeler rear-ended a second one.
Neither man was wearing a helmet, Crouse said.
The investigation is continuing
