A woman charged with firing a weapon near Harmony Elementary School is now facing another charge after authorities said she gave them a false name.
Mary Anne Heglar of Harmony now faces a charge of resisting a public officer by giving a false name.
Heglar was arrested last week after Deputies Carl Adams and Brad Stroud and Detective Sgt. Errin Jenkins investigated a complaint of shots being fired around the soccer field at Harmony Elementary School.
She was charged with disorderly conduct by shooting a gun on property adjacent to a school.
She provided a name to deputies and after her name was published on the Record & Landmark's web site, the sheriff's office received calls that name was false.
Deputies then learned her true name and recharged her under that name and filed the additional charge.
