Iredell resident sentenced for failing to file tax return

An Iredell county resident pleaded guilty Oct. 28 in Iredell County District Court of
failure to file and pay the state individual income tax.
Christopher A. Allison of Statesville, was sentenced to 45 days. The jail
time was suspended to 36 months supervised probation. He was ordered to pay all court costs,
file future returns on time, and pay restitution of $6499.21.
The charges against Allison are the result of efforts by the N.C. Department of Revenue
collections office in Hickory.
