Art gallery hosts fundraiser for no-kill shelter

The Village Pot Shop art gallery in Statesville, wants to help art lovers and animal lovers unite by hosting a fundraiser to benefit animal charities in Iredell County by featuring artwork from across the U.S. and Brazil.

On Friday September 12th, Village Pot Shop art gallery in Statesville hosts the reception for Pet Fancy during the Downtown Gallery Crawl, from 5-9 p.m. A portion of the sales proceeds for the show will be donated to Friends of the Animals which hopes to build a no-kill shelter in Iredell County and to the Humane Society of Iredell.

The fundraiser will continue for the duration of the exhibition which closes at the end of November.

This event is organized by Island Ford Art and sponsored by the Legal Network.
