Davidson Housing Coalition's fifth annual soup cook-off will be held on Saturday, Jan. 31, from noon-2 p.m. in the Lilly Family Gallery of the Davidson College Chambers Building.
Souper Bowl 2009 is a soup cook-off and competition for the best soups in the North Mecklenburg and South Iredell areas.
All proceeds benefit HAMMERS, DHC's emergency home repair program serving homeowners in Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville, and Mooresville.
Tickets on sale now. Adults $10, students, $8, children under 12 $5. Tickets increase $2 at the door. Call 704-892-4486 for tickets.
