South Iredell and West Stokes meet this week in a battle of unbeaten teams. The Vikings and Wildcats, both 13-0, look to stretch their winning streak to 14 games with a third-round victory in the 2AA Midwest sectional final.

Mooresville's Black moves over 1,500 yards for the season
Mooresville quarterback Deonte Black surpassed 1,500 yards rushing this season with his 155 yards in the first half Friday. Black, who was clocked earlier this year with a 4.31-second 40-yard dash, is the second-leading rusher in Iredell County.
