Iredell Museums issues call for artists

Iredell Museums is accepting applications from North Carolina artists who wish to participate in Art on the Street which will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, on West Broad Street, Downtown Statesville. The deadline for applications is April 24, 2009. Applications are available by emailing tgolas@iredellmuseums.org or by visiting www.iredellmuseums.org.


Artists must submit digital images of their work along with the application. All work must be for sale and attributed solely to the participating artist. The fee for this event is $90 or $70 for Museum Members. Artists are responsible for all items required to display artwork in their assigned location.

The event is sponsored by Iredell Museums, the Downtown Statesville Development Corporation, the Iredell Arts Council, and the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce.
