Hilton Hotels announced Wednesday it will build a Home2 Suites by Hilton, a new mid-tier, extended-stay hotel concept targeting extended-stay guests, in Mooresville.
The 105-suite hotel will be built at Legacy Village, a mixed-use development under construction near the Lowe's Companies, Inc. headquarters and Lake Norman Regional Medical Center.
Construction is expected to begin within a year, with the hotel expected to open in early 2011.
The developer for the new hotel is GS Pinnacle I, LLC. GS Pinnacle I, LLC is a joint venture of Charlotte area real estate developer Pinnacle Properties and hotel developer, Griffin Stafford, LLC.
