The Iredell County Sheriff's Office is investigating the shooting death of a 37-year-old man at a home between Mooresville and Troutman.

Michael Eugene Marley, 48, of Stallings Lane, Mooresville was charged with murder and shooting into an occupied vehicle. He made an initial appearance in Iredell County District Court Tuesday morning and was ordered held without bond.
