The line, no doubt, is forming now in preparation for Tuesday's 21st annual Stocks for Tots area holiday fundraiser.
The highly anticipated – and much attended-- seasonal event will take place Tuesday at the Charles Mack Citizen Center in Mooresville
The event is hosted by the Stocks for Tots Foundation, which has designated the Iredell County SCAN ("Stop Child Abuse Now") organization as the recipient of this year's event proceeds.
Attendees of Stocks for Tots will participate in autograph sessions with drivers, crew chiefs, and other members of the racing community while donating cash and toys for area families.
A host of racing-related personalities, including a number of local drivers and area-based team officials, are committed to be at the attraction in person
Helping to raise awareness for Stocks for Tots this year is NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Tayler Malsam, who recently competed in the season's final race in late November at Homestead, FL.
Tayler and his team donated sponsorship of the truck for that race to Stocks for Tots.
"Having Stocks for Tots featured on Tayler's truck this year,'' Don Miller, Chairman of the Stocks for Tots Foundation and recipient of the inaugural NASCAR Home Depot Humanitarian of the Year Award for his dedication to Stocks for Tots, said, will bring a great deal of awareness to our cause. Our Foundation could not be more appreciative of the generosity of Tayler and his team."
Wristbands are required for admission to the event and entry is based on wristband number. Premium wristband numbers can be purchased through Monday at the NC Auto Racing Hall of Fame ("NCARHOF") in Mooresville by calling 704-663-5331.
Wristbands for general admission will be sold for $10 and a new, unwrapped toy on a first-come first-served basis starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the NCARHOF.
