A 28-year-old Denver resident was arrested and charged Wednesday morning in connection with a convenience store robbery in Mooresville.

Iredell County Sheriff's deputies found lottery tickets and money on James Edward Wachob III that they suspect came from the Quick Mart on River Highway.

Deputies responded early Wednesday morning to the store and found a 1995 Lexus LS 400 backed through the front door. Lottery tickets and money was missing from the store.

Wachob was charged with breaking and entering, larceny, safe cracking, possession of burglary tools, possession of stolen goods and resist, obstruct and delay.

Wachob received a $15,000 secured bond and is being held in the Iredell County Jail, where he is awaiting trial.
