The North Iredell Pharmacy, located between Harmony and Union Grove, was robbed Wednesday night by two armed men.
The two suspects tied up the two employees and stole one of their vehicles before leaving the store, which is at the corner of N.C. 901 and Tabor Road, said Capt. Darren Campbell of the Iredell County Sheriff's Office.
The car wrecked and abandoned on Crater Road just moments after the robbery was reported.
The sheriff's office used canines and the N.C. Highway Patrol helicopter to try to locate the two suspects, but no trace was found, Campbell said.
The two were described as white males, in the 20s to 30s. One was 5-feet-6-inches tall and the other about 5-feet-9-inches tall. Both were wearing fake beards as disguises, reports indicate.
In addition to the employee's car, narcotics and a weapon belonging to one of the employees were taken.
