It's time to get your dachshund in training. The 2009 Race City Wiener Run will be held Saturday, Sept. 26 in the public parking lot next to the former Mooresville Ford dealership at Broad Street and Iredell Avenue.
Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. with races starting at 11. All dachshunds are eligible and will race according to age. Pet vendors will be on hand and all proceeds will benefit Lake Norman Animal Rescue and the future Lake Norman Animal Shelter.
