Bobbie G. Edmisten scholarship offered

The Statesville Branch of the American Association of University Women is offering the Bobbie G. Edmisten Scholarship to a female high school senior in Iredell County. This $1000 scholarship is offered to a senior who has maintained high academic grades, has participated in school and community activities and who desires to attend a four-year college/university and obtain a baccalaureate degree.
Financial need is not a criterion; however, preference will be given to those considering a career in a field normally considered challenging for a female student.
Interested students should contact their high school guidance counselor to obtain further information and application forms. Deadline to apply is April 15.
