It was the usual suspects leading the charge for South Iredell's cross country teams at last weekend's 2A West Regionals.
In sloppy, muddy conditions, Brannigan Barker and Peter Kohler paced South Iredell's girls and boys teams, respectively.
Barker's time of 25 minutes, 23 seconds was tops for South and gave her 57th place overall.
Also running well were Payton Blankenship (26:02) and Mattie Williams (27:04).
Kohler took 48th place in the boys race with a time of 20:07.
Behind him were teammates Preston Fox (21:19, 84th place) and Brandon Payne (22:11, 102nd).
