South Iredell is one of four county teams opening the boys soccer playoffs at home tonight.
No one, however, is as hot as the Vikings.
South has won nine straight games while outscoring opponents, all Catawba Valley Athletic Conference foes, 46-13 in the process.
The Vikings play South Stokes at 7 p.m. tonight.
Senior Zach Leaptrott has been sensational this year and leads South in goals (25) and assists (18).
Josh Belk has been a force on the other side of the field by putting forth a defensive effort that should get him a spot on the all-region team for the second consecutive season.
