Authorities are seeking a Statesville man for stealing a motorcycle.
Randall Lynn Hines, also known as Randy Hines, is being sought on charges of breaking and entering and larceny.
Sheriff Phil Redmond said a 2006 Buell motorcycle was taken during a break-in on Bradley Farm Road.
Detective Sgt. Mark Nicholson began an investigation, and entered the motorcycle's identification number into a national crime computer. A few days later, the motorcycle was found at a home in Wilkesboro, Nicholson said. It was at the home of an acquaintance of Hines', the detective added.
Nicholson went to the home and searched it for other evidence, and found several other items, he said.
Warrants were drawn for Hines and he is still at large.
