An Olin man faces multiple charges in connection with several vehicle break-ins.

Christopher Rex Allison, 30, of Olin was charged with three counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle, breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering and misdemeanor larceny.

Iredell County Sheriff Phil Redmond said that on Sept. 22, a man reported that his vehicles and an outbuilding were broken into and several items stolen.

Detective Sgt. Joel Hepler spoke with the victim, who said his property was broken into about a year ago, and Allison was linked to the case.

Hepler learned Allison was in custody in Wilkes County, and spoke with him, obtaining information about the location of some of the stolen property, Redmond said.

The property was found in the Harmony area, and identified by the victim as belonging to him, Redmond said.
