The Jaguars opened their season Thursday with a 69-48 win over visiting Lake Norman.

Landyn Mannion finished with eight points and senior Kasey Haynes, playing in her first game since tearing her ACL more than a year ago, scored six points.
Lake Norman hosts South Iredell on Monday.
