Two people from Harmony face felony charges for breaking into several coin-operated machines.
Christopher Rex Allison, 20, of Olin and Jessie Lee Jones, 42, of Harmony were charged with five counts of breaking into a coin-operated machine, one count of misdemeanor larceny, one count of breaking and entering and one count of larceny after breaking and entering.
The Iredell County Sheriff's Office has been investigating a series of break-ins to coin-operated machines in northern Iredell County throughout September.
Detective Sgt. Derek Getz investigated the cases, and developed Allison and Jones as suspects.
The two also face similar charges in Wilkes County, and are currently in the Wilkes County Detention Center.
The five break-ins in Iredell County occurred at the Greenfield Market, 1076 Friendship Road, North Iredell Middle School, 2467 Jennings Road, Phil's Foodmart, 4277 Wilkesboro Hwy., Southern Farm Supply, 2335 W. Memorial Hwy. and Union Grove Feed Mill, 1868 W. Memorial Hwy.
Capt. Darren Campbell said detectives are checking with surrounding jurisdictions to determine if there are similar cases.
