Locked in a three-way tie for second place in the I-Meck Conference, Mooresville and Lake Norman will tangle tonight in the regular season high school soccer finale for both.

Game time is 6:30 p.m. at Mooresville.

The Wildcats and Blue Devils bring identical 7-4 conference records into the contest, as they jockey for the best seeding positions in postseason play, which begins next week.

The two teams are tied with Mallard Creek for second place. North Mecklenburg clinched the I-Meck crown on Monday with its 1-0 defeat of Mooresville.

In the season's first meeting between Mooresville and Lake Norman, on Oct. 5, the Blue Devils prevailed 2-1 at Lake Norman.
