»  Comments | Post a Comment

Mooresville Graded School District officials said Monday afternoon that they have confirmed their first case of the H1N1 Influenza.

Supt. Mark Edwards said the parents of a student at Rocky River Elementary notified the district Monday that their child has the H1N1 flu. That child was not at school on Monday.

The district will be notifying all parents in the district about the confirmed case via a Connect-Ed phone message today. Additionally, parents of Rocky River Elementary students will receive a letter notice that will be sent home with children. Edwards added that the parents of all students in the same classroom as the confirmed case will receive a personal phone call as well.
