The Mooresville Chapter of Las Amigas, Inc. will be sponsoring its annual Black History Celebration program beginning at 7 p.m. on Feb. 27 at Watkins Chapel Church, 605 Statesville Ave. Mooresville. Rev. Steven M. Howard is pastor of the congregation.
This year's program is dedicated to the youth of the community, as we continue to encourage them to achieve using the theme of "BUILDING A BETTER COMMUNITY
THROUGH OUR YOUTH."
The speaker for the occasion will be the Rev. William Gullick, pastor of Bethesda A. M. E. Zion Church. Come and bring your family, children and friends.
