STATESVILLE, NC - With the forecast of snow or sleet starting Thursday evening, Iredell County Manager Joel Mashburn said county offices will open two hours late on Friday.

Mashburn said all county offices, except for emergency offices, will open at 10 a.m. Friday. The time between the normal opening of 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. will be used to assess whether the offices will open as planned or close for the day.

The forecast for this area, which could vary depending on many factors, is for the possible heavy ice accumulation with some snow possible.
