South Iredell won a game it had to have Wednesday, dispatching Maiden 62-44.
The Vikings pulled away in the second quarter and led 29-18 at halftime.
A.J. Barringer continued his strong play of late with a game-high 17 points for the Vikings (8-10, 4-6).
Tracy Ramsey added 11 points and Quincy Davenport had nine.
The Vikings take to the road today to play Draughn.
