LNHS girls trounce West Charlotte

MOORESVILLE --

Lake Norman pounced on West Charlotte early and never let up Thursday, winning 74-24.

The Wildcats were up 23-2 after the first quarter and 46-11 at halftime.

Brittani Cartner came off the bench to lead Lake Norman (15-4, 7-2) with 14 points.

Kasey Haynes and Mary Stevens both added 11 points for the Wildcats while Landyn Mannion and Kaitlin Walla had 10 points apiece.
