Three Goats Coffee Shop in Mooresville will host a "Greening up our community" event on Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m. "to create awareness of the toxins in our household cleaners and educate concerned individuals about how to have a safer environment by starting in our own homes with safe, all natural cleaning products."
Owner Rebeka Sosa says participants "will also be discussing the lack of proper nutrition in foods that we commonly eat or feed our families and how to change those habits."
The purpose of the free event, she said, is to "educate the community about healthier options for our family and what we can do as a community to create a safer environment."
