Lions beat MHS in offensive-minded game

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Mooresville was humming on offense, but so was West Charlotte.

In one of the most entertaining games of the season, J.T. Terrell scored 31 points Friday as West Charlotte barely outdistanced Mooresville, 89-85.

Terrell may have stolen the show on offense, but the Blue Devils had the better supporting cast.

Five Mooresville players hit double figures, led by precocious sophomore Shawn Lester with 25.

Kendrick Johnson added 16 points while Patrick O'Brien came off the bench to score 12.

Starters Dre Howell and Isaiah Johnson supplied 11 points apiece for the Blue Devils (7-11, 2-7).
