Lake Norman continued its impressive start to the season with an abbreviated 11-0 win over West Iredell on Tuesday.
Up 4-0 after two innings, the Wildcats scored six in the third to put the game out of reach.
Mariah McGuffey and Arin Hall both finished 2-for-3 for the Wildcats (3-0), who have outscored opponents 39-1 this year.
McGuffey, Chloe Archer and Hannah Littlefield all drove in two runs. Hall, Stacey Houser and JoBeth Wright all had 1 RBI.
Dominique Wilson pitched all five innings and allowed just two hits in the win.
Paige Frye allowed 11 runs on eight hits and eight walks for the Warriors (1-1).
