The N.C. Department of Transportation will close lanes on Brawley School Road and Williamson Road where the two roads intersect beginning Tuesday, Sept. 7 through Thursday, Sept. 9, weather permitting.
The lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night. Also, the lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night beginning Sunday, Sept. 12 through Tuesday, Sept. 14, weather permitting. Motorists will still be able to proceed through the intersection.
The lane closures are necessary to pave the intersection as part of the project to widen Brawley School Road. NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
