Water line construction beginning on U.S. 21 in Mooresville

State utility crews this week have begun construction of a new 16-inch water line on U.S. 21 between Cornelius Road and N.C. 115 on the north side of Mooresville.

The work will improve water pressure in the area, officials said. During construction, a lane will be closed on U.S. 21. Work is scheduled for completion in May.
