The Mooresville Recreation Department sponsors a co-ed youth basketball camp for ages 7 and older from July 6-10.
Instructor Rodney Moore graduated high school as the state of Maryland's all-time leading scorer with more than 3,000 points. He earned a scholarship to North Carolina State University, and holds several records including all-time leading scorer. He was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks and has played professional basketball in Europe for the last 14 seasons. His resume includes stops in Italy, Greece, Spain, Israel and Australia.
The camp will be held from 9 a.m. to noon each day at Mooresville Middle School, 160 S. Magnolia St. The camp fee is $100 per participant.
